Former employee, your feedback is important to us. Interface strives to provide a positive work experience for all employees and I am sorry that your experience fell below that standard. I would like the opportunity to discuss further with you if you would like to reach out to me either by phone or email. The COVID pandemic created challenges and struggles for most businesses. Many businesses were forced to close temporarily or permanently leaving a financial strain on their employees. The Interface executive team worked tirelessly to keep Interface operating and ensure customers continued to receive excellent service. Interface experienced substantial loss of revenue due to the pandemic. Cost-cutting measures were put in place which unfortunately included a temporary salary freeze. The company did not however, suspend annual performance reviews. Interface has since reinstated the process of annual pay increases based on the company's performance review process. You mention emails sent to employees stating how much money the company was making. No such emails were sent to employees, however, you may be referring to emails from the executive team informing employees of recapitalizing the business to be financially viable. there is overtime from time to time

Cons

very micro managed and scheduling of lunch and breaks is ridiculous. Your lunch can be as early as 15minutes after arrival and not looking to change it. 3 set shifts. Job is not conducted within the time that it should be given to the client. Rushed thru conducting tours in order to meet a numbers goal to look as if being able to meet the clients needs from what i was able to observe.

Pros

I have been working at Interface for less than a year and I'm very excited about the opportunities. The team culture is superb and the company has great potential to differentiate itself with its technologies, fully managed services and superior customer experience.
