They provide decent paying jobs in rural North American communities.

Cons

High turnover in IT. The salary attracts some to hold positions long enough to move on to a longer term position with better benefits. The bonus rarely paid out, so it's a wishing well more than a perk. Senior leadership consist of no IT professionals. They are often paralyzed with indecision because they just don't know tech.

Safety violations on a daily basis, management, pay is horrible, millwrights are incompetent, Interfor is a Canadian based company and it shows.
