- Friendly and supportive colleagues who have a can-do approach; - Company and management forward thinking and focused on growth; - Good work/life balance; - Opportunities for career growth; management supports career development (but you must be proactive); - Positive workplace environment - very professional. - Wide range of technologies in use.

Cons

- Depending on the role, some tasks may be repetitive; - If you are not in the field, it can be hard to learn the actual lumber business.

Pros

Flexible hours, long-term job security, good work environment (good co-workers are key). I like to people I work with on a day-to-day basis.

Cons

Often long hours with no backup: in many areas there is one person with knowledge/experience of the subject/technology. Hard to schedule time off if you're the only person available for support.

Inexperienced employees were given opportunities to lead complex, challenging tasks which are unavailable at competitive organizations. A fantastic place for new, ambitious graduates to cut their teeth.

Cons

The workload was overwhelming at times, and workplace culture left much to be desired.
