Pros

Intermountain has some great employees, and I was fortunate enough to with some very caring professionals.

Cons

Terrible pecking order that is difficult to impossible to climb. Management at almost every level show disrespect to and disregard for their empoloyees. Pay is low for all non-RN positions. There is a feeling of superiority where you are expected to feel that you are "lucky" to work for them, and that will be all the thanks you'll ever need.

Pros

co-workers got along with most. enjoy being a nurse in general aside from this company

Cons

pay is terrible and the company wants you to be "so grateful to them that you get to work for IHC" whereas it should just be pay me what I'm worth to do my job well. Additionally, they ask you to donate a part of your pay check back into the companies pocket. This pressure was very uncomfortable. If you ever, ever make an error they start a "paper trail" this is to let you never forget any mistakes and when your raise comes up to bring any and all transgressions ever done thus you don't deserve a decent raise. Lastly when I put in notice they reminded me over and over how I would regret ever leaving IHC. I have never regretted this decision.
