Pros

This is a faith based healthcare system that puts a premium on treating the patients as people. Everyone that is here cares for each other, and it is a very team oriented environment.

Cons

The hospital is currently (10/11/2016) going through a sale. There is some unrest and anxiety from some of the employees. We do not know how the sale will affect the jobs of numerous employees.

Pros

The monthly meeting for analysts from across the corporation is a great way to learn new skills and to network. I also appreciate the way that Intermountain supplies me with new software to check out and apply to my work.

Cons

There's no formal training. All I got when I started was an outdated guide called 'What Every Analyst Should Know', and I had to go through countless trial-and-error processes to learn what I know now.
