Pros

Open work place. Free to do what you do best. Company invests in their employees and gives them the tools to do their job. Great work-life balance.

Cons

In general, there are too many meetings.

Pros

Coworkers are great - there's kind of an "us against them" feeling among hourly employees

Cons

No real training at all for pharmacy techs in the compounding lab. You are just dropped in and expected to learn from coworkers. Also, there are no accessible written procedures, so everyone does things their own way. The company constantly stresses "do no harm" but does very little in the way of actually making sure the techs have the ability to properly perform their jobs.

Pros

Vertically integrated. Focused on quality and cost containment.

Cons

Poor transparency. $1,000,000,000 spent on Cerner electronic health record with no demonstrable ROI. Top down. Pays at the 50th percentile for outcomes for staff at delivering at the 90th percentile
