Good but could be better

Pros

Intermountain does a pretty good job with benefits and work/life balance. There's a lot of great people that work here, but they're going to continue having a hard time keeping them on unless they add flexible schedules and increase pay. They're doing some good work on population health but need to continue looking to the future.

Cons

It seems to me that there is a lot of dead weight at the top. They need to seriously consider cleaning house in some of the top tier positions, encourage new ideas and get rid of the people that are stuck in the past and prohibiting innovation. Additionally some senior management does not embody the culture and values of the company and some areas of the company are fairly toxic. Essentially they need to do a better job hiring and keeping good managers and not let the bad managers/directors stagnate in their cozy positions.

Pros

SCL offers good Benifits and training to their employees and families. SCL cares for their employees and their patients. My coworkers in my department were very caring and understanding.

Cons

Anything and everything that a employee requests has to go through corporate. I did not have any bad or negative experiences while working for SCL.

Pros

Cons

We were sub contractors for CSC. the CSC hiring lady lies like a cheap rug. they only were there to make money off us the weekly meetings were soo akward if you are femaie forget about them treating you like you might actually know something Dont believe the CSC lies. if they knew they had to cut staff they should have given us more warning.
