Pros

I have witnessed movement and paying increase. I am heard by management. I have a voice when it comes to patient care. Monies from facility for part-time and full-time for education and certification.

Cons

Both pro and con: It is a large organization. Therefore there is movement, but intimacy amongst employees company wide is lacking. Can't have it both ways.

Pros

The people I work with are amazing. They are my work family. They help alleviate the stressful environment. Every nurse manager I have had has been amazing.

Cons

Ironically the insurance coverage isn't that great. Utah is well below the national standard for paying nurses however I know Intermountain is trying to catch up. The raises lately have been really good.
