Pros

If you are a recent graduate in any field you have a good chance of getting a job at St. James. They like to hire people with no experience at the bottom of the pay scale. The cost of living in Butte is reasonable.

Cons

Communication and respect from middle and upper management to the real workers is not present. Most of those in management came from within and have no leadership skills. Our hospitalist provider has been unable to supply the hospital with quality physicians.

Pros

Great mission and a lot of great people. Intrinsic rewards in the work that you do (helping other people). Location and flexibility. Benefits.

Cons

Slow professional development and opportunity for career advancement. Corporate Ego, or in other words, Intermountain's cuture currently has a feel of, "we can replace anyone."
