Not the same Place it used to be

Pros

Good 401k and pension plan. Good PTO accrual. There used to be a lot more positive to say about this company.

Cons

Don't expect to be promoted unless you can kiss up to the boss at the right times. Managers hire their friends and who they want for the job despite experience, ability to do the job, and who the actual staff wanted. IHC has gone so far downhill that it isn't even recognizable anymore. Employees used to be so highly valued and now it feels as if we are pawns in their next move. Senior management, they are really out of touch with what the frontline staff really actually does. I never thought I'd feel this way after this much time for IHC.

Great place to work

Pros

No nonsense, laid back environment where the job focused on the work, not politics or nonsense.

Cons

Moving to Broomfield, many employees relocated to the Denver area and are now having to relocate again despite the fact that they voted to stay in Denver.

Pros

My family has worked with this company for as long as I've been alive. It is a great place to work! They really focus on taking care of the patient as a person and are consistently improving their care. Benefits are phenomenal! I have never seen coverage like it. From incentive programs(where they pay to be healthy and manage stress) to healthcare coverage there is always someone you talk to about you and your family. I highly recommend it to anyone.

Cons

It can be very hard to get in. Once you are in though, you're there. Due to high application income the screening can be brutally. If you answer one question wrong, your application doesn't ever make it to a person to look at. Make sure all your certifications (BLS, CPR, ect) are update before you apply
