Strenuous and unappreciated. Overworked.

Pros

Caring for the patients/residents and their families. That is what kept me there for so long. Great beginning experience in healthcare.

Cons

Always short staffed. Always taking on Extra duties from other departments so company can downsize. Management is unrealistic of demands and forcefully expects more all the time from employees.

10 years, tiny raises.

Pros

They hired me and keep me employed. Everyone is friendly.

Cons

You're luck if you get a 2% raise every year. Sometimes they will be overly critical on performance reviews or even make up negative comments to keep you from getting more than a 2% raise. There is never a working system in place. Management keeps "improving things" so they have something to list as a goal reached on their performance review.
