Pros

None, truly a horrible Medical Center that has a complete disregard for its staff.

Cons

From start to finish, a complete disconnect from "executives to the general staff". Poor communication, and completely toxic work environment. There are many Medical Centers you can work in, Intermountain is not it. They do not qualify for being an illogical "institution" with lack of common sense.

Pros

The company demonstrates a commitment to its mission, striving to make a positive impact in a challenging and competitive healthcare industry. It offers considerable flexibility with remote work arrangements for corporate employees.

Cons

The paid time off policy may not fully meet expectations, as it includes national holidays in the total PTO allocation for corporate employees, which can be misleading. Individual contributors receive a two-week allocation for the initial three years, while managerial staff accrue time off more rapidly. There is a noticeable cultural spill-over from clinical to corporate sectors, potentially affecting the perception of employee roles and work value. Additionally, challenges in the technology department include a need for enhanced leadership and more efficient utilization of resources. The health insurance plan requires meeting a deductible for routine or office care, which may not align with all employees' expectations. There is a lot of old, coagulated blood here that stifles new ideas. It seems that the time spent here has more merit than skills, experience, and ability to deliver results.
