Thank you for taking the time to share your review with us. First and foremost, we are sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your experience at Intermountain Health. We appreciate your valuable feedback as it helps us identify the areas we can improve. Intermountain provides various resources to share news with our leaders and caregivers, and programmatically, we’ve built deliberate opportunities to collaborate and share feedback. Examples of this include the 30, 60, 90-day Check-Ins with your manager as part of the new employee onboarding program, re-occurring quarterly meetings, team huddles, and staff meetings. We take all feedback seriously and will share your review with our teams as we continue to move forward.

Pros

Supportive community, clear and open communication with management, amazing medical staff, and very understanding and flexible for emergencies.

Cons

Lots of gossip/ drama with employees and management, burnt out employees, over scheduling students, throws employees to the floor without enough training in different areas in the work place, and inability to maintain a fully staffed team due to overworking employees due to uneven employee ratio.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, both positive and constructive. We value all our current and former caregivers’ feedback, as our focus is to continually improve our practices. While the healthcare industry continues to face staffing shortages across the nation, Intermountain Health is employing innovative solutions to address these shortages, including remote and hybrid work options for select positions where possible, tuition reimbursement/education assistance, paid training programs and apprenticeships, and partnerships with educational institutions and community organizations to develop a pipeline of healthcare talent. Through these avenues, as well as an organizational focus on retention efforts, we’re working to ensure we have the workforce we need to provide high quality care to our patients and communities. Additionally, we believe that a culture of well-being for all caregivers is foundational to our ability to deliver on our mission of helping people live the healthiest lives possible. Caregivers are at the heart of what we do, which is why we have invested in and implemented several programs and resources to help caregivers enhance their physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and financial health. It’s important that every caregiver feels secure, supported, and safe, both at home and at work. We appreciate your review and will share it with our teams as we continue to move forward.
