Pros

- Policy consistency between facilities - Lovely coworkers with a shared mission to care for our patients - Run-of-the-mill nursing job: 12 hour shifts, days vs nights options, supportive unit management (L&D)

Cons

- When Intermountain bought SCL, they LOWERED the salary cap for long-term employees. We lost a ton of experienced staff due to this. - they took away PRN differential and any incentive to be PRN - They ended the long-term partnership with Kaiser in the Denver area, which caused us to lose the majority of our patient population.

Thank you for taking the time to share your review with us. As two of the nation’s leaders in providing better healthcare outcomes for lower costs, combining SCL Health and Intermountain Health’s operational and clinical programs strengthens our shared focus while simultaneously expanding our collective footprint to serve more patients and communities throughout the Mountain West. This merger also allows us to reduce costs by allowing for economies of scale and sharing best practices and resources, which can lead to improved quality of care for our patients. Additionally, we regularly review compensation each year to stay aligned with market trends and geographic considerations. We appreciate your review and will share it with our teams as we continue to move forward.
