Pros

Great coworkers. The surgeons and anesthesiologists are all great as well. Being attached to the University of Utah means you can go get Starbucks and treats.

Cons

Working on kids can be hard, especially when you can’t fix them. Besides that... trying to get PTO fast is a problem. You get 4 hrs a paycheck if you’re lucky. Pay isn’t the greatest either. And Intermountain has taken all sugar out of all of the hospitals and replaced it with diet or sugar free drinks etc. I feel this is hard on family and children who are suffering or going through a lot. Sometimes you just need a Coke or a Reese’s.
