      Pros

      There is a variety of work to do, great cafeteria, mostly great employees. Benefits are decent. Huge base to choose from.

      Cons

      Favoritism and exclusion, ostracism if you are not in the old boys club. Science is a continuing evolving field, there is no failure when training students. Watched students harassed and beaten down continually by working staff. Support those and nurture our future staff, they will be taking care of you someday. We walked in their shoes at one time! If you have forgotten how to care and have become callous then get out of your field and let someone take your place who does actually care about others. Remember, we are being paid to administer help and compassion. Patients don't need to feel they are an imposition, they didn't ask to be there for the care they are paying you for.

      Pros

      Great work life balance. This is a great company for those with families and commitments outside of work.

      Cons

      Intermountain doesn't spend enough money on the tools needed for employees to be successful as well as spend enough money to hire enough people to get the jobs done.
