There is so much autonomy that the day is yours to seek out problems that need to be improved. Operating as a cyber analyst allowed me to take my time with troubleshooting/reverse engineering security findings.

Cons

While there I failed to understand the vision of our team. My team members and manager were wonderful, but I felt aimless at times and questioned whether the work I produced actually mattered.

Examples of this include the 30, 60, 90-day check-ins with your manager as part of the new employee onboarding program, re-occurring quarterly meetings, team huddles, and staff meetings.
