Pros

it was an awesome place to work. With the previewes CEO things ran better and took better care of our patients.

Cons

IHC got this poor MR called iCentra from Cerner. It is soo slow and so bad that has put patients at risk. It cost over $700,000000 with poor results. It takes longer to chart which in returns patients get to wait thus the experience is bad. Mark Harrison does not see the consequences of outsourcing departments. He is driving this company to the ground. They kept everthing quiet. So quiet that 2300 people found out that they were being outsource when it came out on KSL. R1 is a company with a checkered past.

Quickly going downhill.

Pros

Front line employees are all here because they actually want to help others and believe in the values Intermountain once held.

Cons

Moral is low and getting lower. Pushing unrealistic goals and productivity. Everything is about the bottom dollar now, not the care.

Not a great place to work anymore

Pros

You will work with great people, who love what they do. Even with frustrations, staff still work really well together and great things can happen.

Cons

The culture of Intermountain was always it's best feature and driving force to keeping a stable workforce. Even with lower pay than other healthcare systems in the area, it was why people stayed for a long time and provided excellent care. With the hire of the new CEO this has changed a great deal and only continues to get worse. He, and much of administration, doesn't listen to anyone that is actually doing the work. While change can be good and some of his ideas can help, the way it has been implemented has been negative and not transparent at all. The CEO has said multiple times at meetings with employees that we will be doing what he wants and, "if you don't like it you can leave." The culture is now awful and it is sad to see what Intermountain has become.
