Pros

Working in the lab is a great and rewarding experience. The lab is highly diverse with people and relationships with coworkers is what makes this job tolerable. The work is fast paced and requires accuracy.

Cons

The pay raises are deplorable and don't support the cost of living. The work becomes tedious quickly and without seeing the outcome from your work, makes it feel meaningless. The burnout is real and the longer you work here, the more damage you take mentally.
