New CEO has brought company morale to all-time low

Pros

The people that I work with are wonderful and dedicated to their jobs.

Cons

The new CEO, Marc Harrison, disappeared from his town hall meetings meant to inform "caregivers" as soon as he caught wind of how angry and demoralized everybody felt. His restructure/reorganization/disruption has quickly turned Intermountain Healthcare from the best company to work for in the state of Utah to the worst. Staff to patient ratios are being brought to unsafe levels. No longer is this the best place to come if you are sick or injured - I would not take my own family here anymore.

Pros

None...use to be great. Now it has turned into a money hungry communist company.

Cons

You are treated like you are worthless and you can't voice an opinion. You are made to work for less and expected to do more or you will be replaced. The Management is the worst.

Pro's and Con's

Pros

Flexible schedule if prn, steady employment in Supply Chain, good benefits if you're full-time, most of the coworkers are easy going.

Cons

Morale in the company is going downhill due to employment uncertainty, upper/cooperate management is out of touch with entry-level employees (especially the CEO and Board of Directors). Upper management seem to be thinking more about the bottom line than the patient, and are decreasing how many employees they have and are outsourcing departments as opposed to stabilizing the skyrocketing cost of the care itself.
