Pros

Schedule is great. Hours are easy to get. Great coworkers. Great food. Decent benefits.

Cons

Pay is not adjusted to cost of living (especially if you have other dependents), but is manageable with a working spouse or by picking up extra shifts or shifts with differentials.

Pros

Great team, great support, great experience Intermountain does care about its employees and does things to change issues or listen to concerns

Cons

So busy, overwhelming, heavy patient load, 4-5 patient ratio is too high for this unit, the tech's get too many patients too so then they are frequently unavailable to help even though they are great and would help if they could

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We value all our current and former caregivers’ feedback, as our focus is to continually improve our practices. We are happy to hear about your time at Intermountain Health and that you enjoyed our mission-driven work, our collaborative, team-focused work culture, and our supportive leadership. While the healthcare industry continues to face staffing shortages across the nation, Intermountain is employing innovative solutions to address these shortages, including remote and hybrid work options for select positions where possible, tuition reimbursement/education assistance, paid training programs and apprenticeships, and partnerships with educational institutions and community organizations to develop a pipeline of healthcare talent. Through these avenues, as well as an organizational focus on retention efforts, we’re working to ensure we have the workforce we need to provide high quality care to our patients and communities. We appreciate your review and will share it with our teams as we continue to move forward.
