      IHC is changing for the worst

      Pros

      IHC offered great benefits, pension plan, 401k. Discounted Rx if you use the IHC pharmacy. Pay good.

      Cons

      Micro-management, managers who would not go up to bat for their employees. Constantly adding new tasks without care of the employees duties already. New roll out of computer system that has many discrepancies. People are being let go and asked to be hired onto a completely different co. losing their benefits for insurance and pensions. No fore-thought, IHC will no longer be a Non-profit Co.

      In past one of the few companies that offered pension.

      Cons

      Recently going a HUGH restructuring. several thousand jobs being outsourced. Lack previous security.

      Pros

      Terrific mission Low turnover Good work life balance Reasonable PTO accrual rate Low insurance premiums Flexible work scheduled Financially Stable Staff dedicated to company mission and vision.

      Cons

      Under new management (CEO). Like all new CEOs he has s trying to make his mark. Unfortunately that mark is to outsource 1000s of dedicated employees (2300 In Revenue Cycle org are in midst of rebadging and a few more hundred IT employees are on deck to be next). These changes will negate many of the pros listed above.
