Pros

Nurses work themselves to death

Cons

Administration doesn't care. Unfair wages. Expect more with less. CEO is crooked and a liar who has continued to run what was once a great company into the ground.

Pros

If you show up for work you will keep yout job. Intermountain doesn't fire people very often. reliable paycheck Good medical insurance and you can get lots of experience

Cons

Ive seen many employees that deserved to be fired for actions but they never were. Mark harrison, the new CEO treats IHC like a for profit hospital. in the nearly 8 years i have been with IHC i have seen more layoffs in the last 2 years than ever before. IHC is about 20% behind the U on how they pay their employees. The expectations are very high and IHC wants to have as few employees possible to get the job done. This makes it very demanding on employees and tough to maintain forever.
