Pros

They have locations in several parts of the country

Cons

The downside - all parts of leadership. They load in with high paid consultants who are incompetent and malicious. CEO is not skilled and focuses on changing the stationery more than the culture. I guess he's doing what he knows how to do. HR leadership is careless with the most valuable resource. Look at turnover. the only ones who stay are the highly paid consultants. They devote endless hours talking about values and behaviors and they practice NONE of them

Pros

They do give an annual raise, and have not tried to decrease our pay post-Covid like some other companies in town like Common Spirit.

Cons

Low raise. I only got 2% this year with zero discipline on my record, 12 years of experience and ability to scrub any specialty we do in the OR as well as being a lead and being on committees. It was just really underwhelming with all of the cost of living increases in Colorado.. and I feel taken for granted. They also take things away constantly that have led to low moral. They changed the call policy to make us cheaper, and whine about not making enough money with some half-baked report that does not make cuts to corporate level people(would solve all financial woes) while rewarding their C level management with all expense paid trips and a bonus lump sums that would pay me for 5+ years. CLEARLY they have plenty of money, they just steal from their lowest paid employees. They are fooling no one and we all know they are full of corrupt $h!t.

Pros

Stable, steady work. Live well program is good.

Cons

Intermountain used to be a great company to work for but no longer. It is too big for its britches. It started to go downhill with the last CEO. The leaders are too concerned about things like DEI, new logos, and growth. It used to feel like family but now I don't feel safe speaking up and I don't feel like I have an opportunity to do what I am good at. I want to leave the profession but I've been a nurse for over 30 years and have an advanced degree so it's hard to do something else at this stage of life.
