Pros

Casual dress, Easy got in due to high turn over rate.

Cons

Cheap labor. Image your experience with a car dealer you will have the same feeling working here. Management treat employees not live human being but some disposable material.

Pros

IB offers a casual work environment and friendly people. The company allows for some flexibility with hours and is willing to teach you. There is also a ping pong table in the lunch room.

Cons

The company does not value employees unless they are senior management or above. The pay is way below average as well as the raises. The company has a very high turnover rate and would rather replace employees with less expensive people thus not a place to build a career unless you start high up. The office and lunch room are not well kept and the fridge is not sanitary. There is also a lack of privacy and offices. The insurance contribution is also higher then most companies.

Pros

1- You will be given enough time and guidance to learn as an intern. 2- The work environment is so free of bullies and people are quite friendly. 3- The view of LAX from the kitchen and conference rooms is amazing. 4- If you are competitive but want peace and tranquility in life at the expense of slightly below par salary, this place is for you. It doesn't come for free. 5- Management is honest with employees. 6- Top notch human resource department. 7- Well funded and efficient infrastructure. 8- Inters are assigned to a single lead for the whole duration of internship.[This could be a negative for some.] 9- Flexible timings even for interns.

Cons

1- Heavy reliance on open source technologies. [This could be a plus for some.] 2- Interview and relocation expenses not reimbursed for interns. 3- Intern to full time transition takes more than four months, and up to an year. 4- Tough programming questions in interview. 5- No health insurance coverage for interns. 6- Salary is around $10/= per hour less than the competition for interns.
