Pros

The pay is "fair". If you have the ability to meet the metrics of the job? You can make okay money.

Cons

The QA is horrible. 5 pages for an 8 minute call. They blame you if you don't get enough calls. The job is toxic. They want you to rob the customer by not allowing you to "waive" fees that should be waived.

Pros

There are many nice people working there, and you can work remotely

Cons

Despite billing themselves as a remote company, Intoxalock considers their business hours Central Time and makes little or no allowances for employees in other time zones. Additionally, Intoxalock is aware that their flagship product damages customer's car batteries, and is dishonest about it. They gaslight customers into thinking it's their fault in order to continue selling their faulty product. There are also unfair policies, a lack of transparency, and no real efforts to maintain diversity and inclusion despite pretending their committee is a viable D&I effort. Most people in the company look down on the customers and do not care about their experience or their wellbeing. They lack empathy for people in a difficult situation and are only concerned with money, and leads. Think the "Can I reach you about your car's extended warranty?" trope, but worse. They do their best to imitate official government correspondence and trick customers into thinking they need to use them for the interlock needs, when this is not the case.

Pros

Work from home is nice.

Cons

I wish I could write no stars lol They really had me sucked in at the beginning. But then Long story short. They LOVE to mess with you when it comes to leads/calls. Have a ghost call? Robo call? That’s a lead and will go against your numbers. Managers are supposedly to take them off but guess what? Nope. They will give referrals/different leads to top people who are making them money and then let the people that are so so drown because they don’t honestly care. There’s no way to get to the top if one person has only had 6 leads, and one of the top reps have had 23. 🙄 On top of that, you have to hit so many numbers to get full benefits from your pay, and if you don’t get it- you only make $10 AN HOUR. McDonald’s workers make more and probably honestly get treated better If you take time off- don’t worry, you just won’t have like any commission on your next check. So just make sure to never actually take the PTO you have or else you won’t get paid anything over 900
