Pros

Wish I could think of any.

Cons

Ivanti seems to believe they can buy companies and get the customers of the newly acquired company to swap to their old, outdated, and inferior product by slapping some cool buzz words on marketing materials.

Pros

Remote work Smart coworkers Good product suite Great branding- marketing does a good job

Cons

It’s a good ole boys club and top heavy with a lot of underperforming exec level managers. The lack of processes is truly shocking for a company of this size. Data is a mess. Departments work in vacuums. Overall, Culture is really bad. Lack of diversity and questionable hires. No real opportunity for advancement when upper management just brings in their own people. People are overworked, overwhelmed, always running uphill due to broken processes, lack of proper training, and being understaffed. Everyone in reactive mode. Laid off many worker bees while stacking VP level. Most people don’t care to help when you need it, you’re lucky if you get a response to your emails.

Pros

- Larger company benefits - Flexible PTO - Remote work options (after Covid) If you are looking for a company that values the bottom line and budget spreadsheets over valuing employees, customers and quality products, you'll find what you're looking for at Ivanti.

Cons

I came over in a recent acquisition and it has been nothing but terrible. The communication is all over the place - we were told by the CEO that we were acquired for our strengths, our people and our product but when we got into the motion and heard from the CPO and her directors, it was evident that they didn't even know what they acquired. The CPO had major plans for the company that was made on incompetence and lack of vision. No one under her has a backbone to make decisions or push back when things don't make sense. A lot of management came from BMC where they made huge mistakes - and are repeating those mistakes here. They do not listen to customers and they do not care about the quality of the products they're developing. We've lost over half of our R&D department and were told that it's Software and that turnover is normal, but instead of hiring local talent, they decided to off shore to India and hire Development teams over there. The only thing that matters to Ivanti is the bottom line and spending as little money as possible on their products. It's apparent that they're short termers looking to make it big in either a company sale or in buffering their portfolio to go public. You will not be valued as an employee or a customer. The lack of communication is another thing. Upper management in Engineering and Product do not speak to each other and are not on the same page. Rumors get spread in every direction because one group is saying one thing and another group hears another. Management works in silos and it is evident - projects get killed but communication happens months later. No one in management can answer to decisions being made when asked. And asking questions gets you a fast pass to being laid off. The employees laid off during acquisitions with severance packages are the lucky ones.
