Pros

This was one of my first jobs in retail, and I felt I grew a lot with the job. The leadership was really supportive and understanding and it was just an enjoyable job.

Cons

Became a very consuming job while in school

Pros

* The job provides a decent discount * Jcrew is a fun environment to work in * Seasonal employees welcomed, (I worked for four summers and am always welcomed back)

Cons

* Low Pay for the services expected of sales associates * Situations where customers can receive better discounts than employees (ie. college students/teachers using their student discount on top of clearance when the clearance discount is 40% or higher). In my mind, this should NEVER happen. I feel that in situations where customers receive special additional discounts, the employees should be able to get the same deal. Respect your workers as much as you respect your customers.
