Pros

JCrew has a great work environment. Employees (for the most part) like each other and it can be fun to come to work.

Cons

The staff isn't always on the same page. Not much upward advancement available in a stale market.

Pros

J.Crew has a great product line that essentially sells itself so the work of a sales associate is very little. They have a very loyal customer base and they always know what they want and how it should fit.

Cons

The managers in my store seemed very inexperienced and like they were constantly trying to make friends instead of keep a professional life. The scheduling was all over the place and we seemed to be hiring people when there weren't hours in the store to be hiring them. Employees were never quite treated with the intellectual respect we felt like we deserved and we all tired rather quickly of this.
