Pros

The level of customer service and continuing effort for customer satisfaction is one of the very best I have every work within. The new advertising Campaings are fun and entertaining. Associate Discounts make it very hard not to shop ALOT.

Cons

In February a New CEO was brought in to Helo JCP transition in todays failing economy. Over haldf of the Store staff were let go and Now starting May 20 the salon associates will no longer receive the commission on Product sales or services but are being given hourly rate based on Productivity while the prices charge previously to clients are being lowered. Basically Every Stylist in the nation that work at JCP loose 25-40 % of there income and have no ability to recoup wages.

Pros

you get 2% discount on a perches. they have a big dinning room. they are inside the mall.

Cons

they will work you to death. if people don't apply for credit card they make it like it is your fault. they hire you saying you are here as permanent employee, but after big holiday they tell you that they no longer need you and you were hired only for the holiday.. so never leave your permanent job for jc penny. you might find your self in the cold after Christmas day.

Pros

Penney's has a long tradition of customer service, quality merchandise, community service, and rewarding employee dedication and effort. Many Penney's employees are also Penney's customers, and receive helpful discounts on merchandise and some services.

Cons

The corporate culture makes drastic changes frequently, causing customer confusion and anger that is often directed at customer service staff who have no input into the policies. Often employees are told to make promises to customers that are not supported by others further "up the line".
