Pros

The pros of working at JCP were very few. Aside from meeting new people and having nice co-workers, the only other benefits would be the small discount for employees.

Cons

8/10 times I would find other (higher-up) managers sitting in their office despite the continuous walkie-talkie calls for assistance. Managers in lower positions like myself bore the brunt of it all on busy nights. There was major disorganization on the floor and in the office.

Pros

Some pros are that you get a little extra pay for credit apps and some recognition from managers.

Cons

Managers have unusually high expectations for first-time employees. They don't often help with training - are usually pretty low-key. However, if you have questions or get confused or something, the managers like to have whispering campaigns like they're in middle school or something. They get off on treating their employees like they don't matter and that they're less than.
