Pros

The work/life balance is really respected in the Home Office in Plano. My co-workers & some people around the office are some of the best people you will meet which created a great working environment.

Cons

Career advancement in the design part of the company is next to nothing. There is no definite or clear path for advancement. Also unless you are "in" with right crowd, your chances of career advancement is non-existent no matter how hard you work or how well you do your job. I've seen people work like dogs with people advancing all around them, while they stay in the same position. Also if you want to switch departments within the company, HR makes it next to impossible to do. You have to go around them to even get an interview.

Pros

More cons then pros. Great if your just starting a job into loss prevention to get your feet wet.

Cons

Pay isn't that great. If you voice your concern about somebody breaking a policy that person will not be talked to but you will be investigated about every single thing. District LP does not know what happens in the stores regarding externals. If you produce and break policy then you are loved by management and above. Stay away if you like to voice your concerns they won't listen and will find a dumb reason to let you go. Favoritism is strong in this company. If you have years of experience you won't get promoted, they promote from outside the company. They compare you to other stores even though they have a totally different clientele.

Pros

Great team mates, employees....generous employee discount, paid vacation, holidays, health insurance

Cons

Workload is Crazy! Constant cuts in payroll result in very few actual people to assist customers. It feels like there is a new set twice a month and replenishment does very little replenishing. There is far too much work to be done in the 3 hours or so a day you are allowed to work in your department. LOD shifts and problem solving eat up much of the day.
