Pros

Most customer appreciate they way are treated

Cons

They put me out on the sales floor by myself just a week and a half from my first day. I didn't feel that was enough time to have me opening by myself . Then they had the nerve to say I didn't know what I was doing and fired me. I felt like saying maybe if you trained me for a longer period of time I would know my job. Sears is a way better company to work for they reward you, appreciate disabled workers, and do a better job at training employees than jcpenney. When I tried to complain to jcpenney's hr department they said it was just because a lack of skill. But if that really was the case then why did Sears hired me for seasonal and didn't have any complaints. They only reason I didn't stay at sears is because there weren't enough hours to go around after the Christmas season.

Pros

Great culture and fun work environment. Lots of amenities at the Home Office.

Cons

Salaries are not competitive and career advancement takes a long time. Size of company and too many layers of management make it hard to implement change.
