Front-only register system meant many inefficiencies. Cashiers constantly calling for price checks or verifications from floor associates. I had to carry asthma meds, inhaler, kleenex, etc. in a little bag tied to my belt loops, which looked weird and sometimes got caught on hangers, fixtures, etc. Never had to do that before. No work space at register area, no folding space, back counter slanted so couldn't be used to stage merch.--very inefficient esp. at holidays. Cashiers almost stepping on each other all the time. Dept. manager seemed not to have talked to hiring mgr. about my promised hours, etc. Favored the young guys, few of whom had much work ethic.

I worked on commissions so it was very dog eat dog. Also pushing credit put alot of pressure on the employees.
