Pros

The company has an impressive benefits package for part-time employers. Depending on where a person works, paid time off if requested within a reasonable time is granted and is flexible.

Cons

The downside of working for JCP is low wages and low raises, if the company fiscal year is not met in profits, the employees will go on a wage freeze.

Pros

They pay better than most other retailers. Management and employees have a lot of respect and good relations. Great associate discount.

Cons

Not many rules enforced with coupons. Coupons lead to many problems with customers.. Long shifts. Demand for credit card applications. You end up hating people from working with so many greedy customers. Too many customers try to cheat the company by switching tickets, etc.. Too many questions required to be asked to customers at the checkout, you feel like a robot after a while. Rarely ever any bonuses. And raises are minimal.
