Just another corporation

Pros

Decent amenities at the home office ... onsite childcare, fitness center, Starbucks, etc. Company is trying to get profitable again so there might be an opportunity now to be part of the growth.

Cons

The stores have great people but the culture has changed at the corporate office. Used to be more of a family atmosphere and had a special culture tied to the company's historic roots. As longtime employees are being shown the door, they're being replaced by outsiders. Now it's just another corporation.

JCP Home Office

Pros

Nice location. On site daycare, health clinic, Walgreens, cafeteria, Subway and fitness center. New CEO and upper mgmt have good ideas to get the company back on course to profitability.

Cons

Lots of changes still going on throughout the company. Too many layers of mgmt and not enough people to do the actual work.

Cons

It was very hard to get any time off They do require you to work weekends
