Uncertain Future For an Industry Icon

Pros

Employees are proactive and easy to get along with.

Cons

Management tends to keep company developments until the last minute. CEO is a bit insensitive to employee concerns during times of uncertainty. We are being acquired by a private equity firm, so anxiety is high among employees as we know nothing about our new parent company and what will be their first action of business (layoffs, etc.).

Pros

Flexibility, well supervised. Interesting/Challenging work.

Cons

Too many initiatives. You may end up doing something that has been solved elsewhere. Although there is some training. Not much training exists to welcome new hires into the corporate culture.
