Pros

The management are fantastic (at all levels), and are lovely to work with - as with all the people here, they are approachable and friendly, knowledgeable and reliable. I like that even senior management are very respectful and open to non-management staff and it definitely feels like they value input from all areas of the business, which is something I haven't seen in many companies. It feels, to me, like a place where good ideas and hard work are genuinely appreciated, regardless of hierarchy. The flexible working arrangements are great, as you can work where and when you get your best work done, and any technical issues when working from home are rare. Usually I've found working over VPN to be quite frustrating, so I'm really glad it works well here and everything is just as quick as when I'm in the office. The London office is lovely, with generously stocked food and drinks for all staff (never underestimate the power of free food!), a lively but not loud atmosphere, and regular fun things organised for us such as themed events and fundraisers. Also it's really easy to get to with train and tube stations nearby, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops around. Most importantly, I feel completely empowered to do my job well. I'm given the freedom to achieve my objectives autonomously in the ways I believe will be most effective, and always have support there when I need it. I do also feel like my work is valued, and overall these things make me feel so much more invested in the company. The benefits are also excellent, and we are given plenty of training opportunities. I've already learned a lot since being here, and feel like it's somewhere where there are lots of opportunities, and it's up to you to make what you can of them.

Cons

I have only been here during 2017, and I understand that there was previously a major transition period which sounds like it must have been difficult.
