Core Values are losing importance

Pros

Work life balance is truly supported. Bonus programs and profit sharing is very good. Its a very stable company in regards to employment stability.

Cons

Over the last few years, the companies dedication to its culture and core values has slipped. Two recent senior level hires are representative of this shift in culture. The new CIO and the newest GVP in the finance division are clearly allowed to skirt all of the core values that regular associates are measured against. There are clear issues starting to show because people are beginning to leave the company, which use to never happen. Additionally, the company continues to slide down the best places to work rankings. But profits are up so none of these associate and culture related issues are going to be looked at. We now have beautiful new buildings to work in but nobody wants to come back and thats has as much to do about low employee moral as it does covid.

Pros

Since Covid struck this company has shown their true colors. They have stripped you of your freedom and forced masks on everyone and force you to either get vaccinated or show your status. The only pros here are the yearly bonus anymore.

Cons

They will strip you of your freedom here. They force pride month, BLM, masks, and CV-19 vaccines down your throat. Associates are extremely unhappy and unmotivated.

Thank you for your feedback. All of our protocols, and how they have evolved over time, have been designed in partnership with medical professionals for the safety of all of our associates. We are continuing to monitor the Covid situation to adjust our protocols as needed and with the most current and accurate information available. We have provided an avenue for our associates to share their vaccine information to help us have the full picture when making future decisions. We believe strongly in our core values and that taking meaningful steps to protect the health and safety of our associates, such as socially distancing, providing hand sanitizer and requiring masks when appropriate, exemplifies our value of Consideration. Covid has been a challenge for everyone, but by continuing to lean on the core values that have served us well for over 50 years, we will demonstrate to all associates that we truly see them as our most important asset. Additionally, we firmly believe in treating associates in the best possible way, regardless of their race, gender, religion, disability, sexuality, or other characteristics. We ensure people are comfortable bringing their complete selves to work by encouraging associates to share their unique experiences and perspectives. Research has shown that this improves the morale and results, but beyond that we think being inclusive is just the right thing to do. If you would like to discuss your concerns in more detail, please reach out to Associate Care via the HR NOW portal.

Pros

Great income opportunity and benefits with profit sharing. The company also offers a very generous amount of PTO.

Cons

Lots of travel and not many opportunities for promotion, especially in preferred areas. Leadership and location is key for success with the company and causes many associates to leave after working so hard for the promotions.
