As noted I got laid off from Dynamex in March of 2011. In May of that year my original boss, who was still at Dynamex called and ask if I was still looking, which I was. He said one of the former Presidents of Dynamex had started a new company "JW Logistics" and was recruiting him to be the Senior VP & GM expected to develop and grow the company. He said he told the owner the only way he would make the move was if he could bring me on board. He then asked me if I could wait until July 1, 2011 as that is when his sales pipeline would kick in. He said it would be as the old days and we could be the start of something, and get what he called business units in case we ever went public, and they would be converted to shares. Unfortunately none of that happened. His clients did not come through and the revenue was way below projections. We did acquire some business and I was able to grow two account organically due to the service. However I was traveling weekly to an account that they brought on just for the revenue and it was a tough piece of business with no profit. When I was asked to take a salary reduction 3 months before my contract termed I decided to decline, as the business was floundering and the general attitude was not good. However i managed to keep the service at the expected levels, and we parted on good terms.
