"Experiencing Headwinds"

Pros

- Some seriously smart people doing their best to be innovative - Work/life balance is great - (Formerly?) Flexible remote/hybrid environment. Still available for some - Was once a great place to work. Still could be.

Cons

- We don't have the resources we need to do what Jamf needs to get done. And rather than correct this problem, we've literally cut back even further. As such, more and more has been pushed onto development teams and they are told to suck it up and be more productive at the same time. - Our well-liked, charismatic CEO retired, just in time for "significant headwinds" to hit. Current CEO seems like a nice enough guy but he doesn't command the understanding and respect that is needed to keep morale up. - Prior CEO declared 5 years ago that RTO would never happen. Many people built their lives in the past 5 years around this policy. Recently, all "Go to Market" teams were recalled, 3 days a week, for mandatory in-office. Non-GTM teams are still "work where you feel most productive", but those who DO work in the office have had concerns that there isn't enough quiet space to work there anymore. Every single one of these concerns (from both groups) has been brushed off: people were literally told to deal with the noise, that it was "productive" for the GTM teams to be noisy! - Very poor communication about downsizing. Right now teams are finding out that resources are missing via rumor mills vs official communication. - Once you're past the mid-levels of your career ladder, things are pretty well frozen. The higher positions require new role creation, and that hasn't happened in a good while (years). - Overall reduction in benefits/perks in the last few years
