Thank you for your feedback! As the CEO, transparent communication is at the top of my priority list, so I am glad to hear that it’s being noticed. The recent structural shift has created big changes for our organization, but we are confident it will pay off. We are happy to have you on this journey, so please stick with us.

Pros

Solid base pay and benefits. There was a great work life balance. The company and exec leadership was very open and transparent with their response to Covid. They handled the pandemic very well and kept giving weekly updates and maintained communication.

Cons

There is a lack of accountability amongst upper management and an inability to standardize processes. There is very much and us against them mentality at play between accounting and operations. While that is not the case for all of the operations leaders it is for a significant volume of ops leaders making it difficult to establish standard practices and even get buy-in and assistance from operations. The company is also growing through various acquisitions, which is great for the company, however the onboarding could be done better, there is no set Jensen Hughes way. So they may have purchased several companies over the year to integrate in, but each one has their own individual processes which is highly inefficient. As far as comp goes for the accounting the bonus pay was insulting. 4% bonus at the end of the year after being told all year "management has heard everyone's concerns about how low the bonuses were last year and is going to correct it for 2019" is misleading.

Thank you for your candid and constructive feedback. As an organization, we should all be working toward the same goals, so collaboration across all functional areas is imperative. We know this is not always the case and are always looking for ways to improve this. One of the ways we hope to “standardize” these expectations and move forward as one organization, rather than a collection of acquired companies, is through our new Purpose+Principles. There will be many outcomes as a result of this new collective mindset that we hope will solve the challenges you’ve identified to make JH a great place to work.
