Pros

People working here are committed to the mission, care about their jobs, and care deeply for the quality of life of our residents and their family. They look for ways to be innovative. Active management and HR committed to the cause.

Cons

Competing priorities, competing for resources.

Pros

When I graduated from nursing school and passed my boards I was working as a hospitality assistant here. Transitioned nicely into my job as a long term staff nurse and then to the rehab floor. Nice manager, helpful co-workers, supervisors were helpful. Great teamwork

Cons

Some co-workers could be less than helpful, large patient/resident to nurse ratio at times. Wished the laptops on the medcarts could be used for charting!

Pros

They will do special scheduling (school) Over time available

Cons

Scheduler is awful and borderline abusive to employees (management doesn't care) They'll ask for doctor's notes but write you up for being sick (yet, tell you to call in if you're sick so that the residents won't catch ailment) Always short staffed NO PAY RAISES "Holiday Pay" (you get paid is you're off for a holiday but that holiday counts as one of your scheduled days off) Scrubs are cheap and itchy and don't breath "Yearly Bonus" (Only a handful of people in the facility gets this) Don't promote from within unless you stay in the department you were hired for (ex. CNA to LPN to RN to Nurse Manager, ect)
