Pros

Super inclusive environment: as a female-identified person who's worked most of her career in male-dominated spaces, it's awesome to be in a place where all my colleagues treat each other the same regardless of gender. It's a place where folks can bring their full selves to work, and although I work pretty independently in my role, I get to interact with people on a bunch of different teams, and they're passionate and smart and supportive. Jobber also has an awesome community presence, supporting initiatives/events like Startup Week, YESS, Edmonton Pride, and Movember. I get regular 1:1 time with my manager, the leadership team is super accessible and responsive to feedback, and I have a lot of autonomy over the work that I do. Other bonuses include: gender-neutral bathrooms on every floor, a fully stocked kitchen, and after-work beer on tap.

Cons

The extended benefits package isn't *super* amazing, but given it's a smaller company it's to be expected, and it covers what I need it to.

Pros

Such an engaged and collaborative bunch of people, who truly care about our customers' success and Jobber's success. I've not worked for a company that collectively has such genuine empathy for the customers they serve.

Cons

Benefits and "extra compensation" - like RRSP matching - aren't there yet, but I'm sure will come with time.

Pros

- No matter your position, your feedback and ideas are taken seriously. - Amazingly supportive staff. It sounds cheesy, but once you’ve experienced real support (not just the stuff inspirational posters are made of) but true and honest support, you grow so much faster in whatever you were hired to do. - The people. Smart, kind, normal people. Kindness is kind of infectious at Jobber. It’s like one person does it and the next 5 people can’t help but keep it going. That might sound exaggerated, but after a few years at Jobber I can still say it’s a thing.

Cons

- it’s a fast growing start up. Things change quickly because they have to. Sometimes it’s an adjustment, but it’s good news for everyone, right?
