Too much politics

Pros

You get brand new laptop and good health benefits. Other than that I don't see anything good.

Cons

There is too much politics in the company especially in the engineering team. Founder CTO prefers to assign new projects and challenging work to his buddies. It doesn't matter how hard you work or smart you are, you gotta play the politics to grow in this company. I am already looking for a new job.

Inexperienced sales leadership, volume game so hard to meet targets

- Good patio for summer - Nice office

Cons

I joined Jobber as a salesperson last ago. I was hoping to develop enterprise sales skills but surprised to see how the sales work at Jobber. There are not processes, no strategic thinking but you just work like as a robot to do demos. And it's hard to meet targets and make commission when you are selling a $10/mo product. On top of that, I couldn't develop any sales skills because there is no sales leadership. It was my bad move to build sales career.

Pros

Easily the best tech company to work for in Edmonton, solid team, product is always getting better and this company is growing FAST

Cons

Downtown parking I guess. Seriously, there aren't a lot of drawbacks to working here. If you're looking for a quiet job to wait out the rest of your life, this isn't for you.
