Lipstick on a pig

Pros

Fun quarterly events and events at the office.

Cons

I was looking for another saying other than lipstick on a pig but this was the best suited phrase for Jobot. Under the quarterly events (that are no longer in the budget) or movie nights (which are no longer in the budget) and the free Fridays is a company that has its certain people it deems as celebrities that strut around in Gucci to show everyone that they too can make loads of money but realistically virtually everyone is trying to stay above their draw. Its told when hired that the draw is just a number that is there to hit and that no need to worry. But once you are three months behind the one on one meetings start to make sure that you are well aware that you are on the chopping block. You will even get promoted if you are behind on your draw and then to top it off they entice you with an offer letter with your promotion with more money that you have to bill. I guess looking back I should have taken the increase in pay if I was just going to get let go anyway. If you don't have a full book that you can bring with you, DO NOT JOIN THIS COMPANY. If you are thinking about joining jobot stay at your firm. Like the great Adam Sandler says in Billy Madison "stay here, stay as long as you can, for the love of god, cherish it" Its funny looking back there were red flags that I wish I would have listened to. During my interview with the Jobot-in-Cheif, I asked her what were her hiring plans for the future. She told me she didnt have a plan she was just going to keep hiring. Well I hope this was a lesson learned that business plans do work and giving people draft numbered jerseys just to let them go doesn't really mean anything at the end of the day. I will end with this, please look at these reviews and see that Jobot is actively trying the skew the numbers of bad reviews because public image is everything to these people. If you look at the positive reviews its literally 5 words, that's the minimum to post. lol No substance, just someone taking an order from a recruiting manager. Everyone detailed cons post is very accurate and depicts someone else's point of view. PS- Lets all have a chuckle at the "CGO" post on LinkedIn for April fools and then she proceeds to get dunked on in the comments and deletes every negative comment without apologizing. lmao! Cheers mates, Ex-Cultmember

Pros

Work life balance- Competitive salary- No restrictions on areas to recruit- IT department-

Cons

A lot: Zero structure at this company. It is a free for all with business / accounts with no accountability. Little chance to succeed unless you can bring a book of business or have connections to work with. The salary is competitive, but you are paid as a draw. An enormous amount of brown nosing back and forth between leadership with everyone paying homage to the CEO. She clearly encourages and rewards those who do so. Definitely has most people fooled from her nonstop self promotion on any social media platform that she can get her claws on. Likes to portray a helping people first atmosphere, but the reality is, she wants maximum revenue from each client that are higher than industry standards. People are completely blindsided when they are let go and done so in the coldest manner.

Pros

- Held fun/themed events with catered food - High base salary - Benefits 100% covered for employees

Cons

- Culture of kindness & respect is a front -- employees are seen as numbers and their only priority is to make money. - They hire large groups of employees weekly and also terminate groups of employees regularly once they reach their 90 day mark depending on their billing. Employees are terminated regardless of their activity, progress, without a PIP and even without notifying the employee's direct manager. (low turnover rate they claim to have is skewed) ** Here are a few details of my termination to give background to my statement above. I was encouraged to switch industries 2 months into working for Jobot -- which means not only learning the in's & out's of a new industry but also restarting my pipeline. I got to work asap & brought on a new client with a signed MSA and was actively working 2 solid jobs just a week prior to my 90 day mark. I was keeping up with metrics and pushing out a high number of calls too. However, as soon as my 90 day mark arrived, I received a call from my director letting me know that my role was no longer available and to direct all questions to HR. There were no prior conversations about performance or a PIP put in place, just a transactional termination. I later found out that my manager wasn't even consulted or notified about my termination until after they had pulled the trigger & processed my termination.... and I wasn't the only one this happened to. This is an ongoing process for them. At the end of the day, this is a business but the way this was handled was shady and wrong. Especially for a company who prides themselves on leading with kindness and treating their employees with respect. I was left without a job and only 4 days of medical coverage before the month of October ended. Please don't be fooled by their bogus mission statement.
