Pros

Remote work or local office and good pay (If you're willing to "grind" or get really lucky with a good client)

Cons

They promote free Fridays but many managers expect you to work. So it's really more for show to say they value work life balance The only reason they win best place to work is because they send out an internal survey and we know if we rate well the boss will be happy, and if the boss is happy they have really lavish events They over hired low and mid performers but still want to be seen as a place with no layoffs so every pay cycle a group of people would get let go and a new group would be hired so it looks like it's still growing when they're really letting quite a lot of people go Some managers are quite nice but others are overly cruel. When you start you get assigned to a team so you never know what you're going to get so you might get lucky, but I've seen far too many people get unlucky across different divisions A lot of markets are oversaturated with recruiters and there's quite a bit of in fighting between different teams It is all about the grind even if that comes with a high personal cost

Pros

Salary but bear in mind this is a draw Lots of junk and trinkets in the mail

Cons

No security here in terms of money. The company is bleeding cash and did not pay its health insurance premium, leaving all of us without insurance for the foreseeable future. Extremely unprofessional to not pay your health insurance bill but advertise to employees about company parties and trips. Not to mention LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and even Docusign bills being shut down. Not sure how long this will last but a lot of other recruiters seem to notice and are coasting. Lots of forced social media posting to advertise the company as the next coming. Be reminded that we are receiving points and money to write fake LinkedIn posts. Very cliquey atmosphere. Feels like high school with everyone forming groups and hard to make friends. Too much money spent on events and not overhead staff. Clearly understaffed within accounting and finance. Accounting is overwhelmed and cannot help everyone. Accounting is starting to become outsourced with very highly paid consultants who seem very clueless, we recruiters were not allowed to hire for this role? Salary is a draw and they always remind you of it. Lots of people ride the wave because it's extremely to get hired here, collect draw, and go under the radar.

Pros

- Lots to take advantage of in the way of uncapped commissions and intelligent technology, software tools for business development/recruiting, and other resources for making more placements than you've ever made before. - Incredible leadership from the top down. Breath of fresh air to work directly with an amazing entrepreneur (former Ernst & Young Top 40 entrepreneur) with a successful track record in the business. - Best of both worlds if you are looking for a start-up and a stable work environment with no risk. We are growing rapidly and are already profitable in just 4-5 months of being in business. - Lots of flexibility, unlimited PTO, every other Friday off, tons of holidays, and company events to take advantage of. - Transparent commission plan, best benefits I've ever had, and other incentives which most companies can't and won't offer. - Premium partnerships with other recruiting platform, marketing, and technology companies. A commitment to smart-targeted marketing strategies which do not inundate clients or candidates with spam, ultimately protecting the company brand.

Cons

- Like any start-up, there is a lot that is still being set up. Need to be ready for process changes and updates to our technology and systems. That being said, I am already blown away by the tools we have at our disposal and there is plenty more to come.
