Pros

Many people stay forever... if you are ok with lack of upward mobility, it can be a steady job. I enjoyed working with my team. The health system is very well regarded and provides excellent care.

Cons

Administrative staff have very poor PTO. National Holidays subtracted from PTO bank and as well as mandatory ‘admin’ days off. Company is trying to cut costs at every end. Lots of reorganization.

Executing on our quality, safety, affordability and patient experience strategies will allow John Muir Health to continue to provide access to high-quality care for our community for many years to come. Because the Bay Area healthcare market is extremely dynamic and rapidly evolving, we must periodically review and adjust our tactics to ensure we are on the right course. We firmly stand by our “Open Door” Policy, and warmly welcome the opportunity to speak with you as well as employees at all levels, who have concerns. John Muir Health encourages its employees to openly communicate concerns by speaking with their direct supervisor, reaching out to a knowledgeable HR professional or anonymously speaking to a qualified representative. Pros

Great team work with co workers. Competitive Salary Good support services.

Cons

Make changes just for the sake of changing all disguised under transformation. Employees are not benefitting from changes. Lack of support from management due to overtaxing the managers and case managers. Rocky EMR. Hard to place patients due to lack of support for departments our patients are referred to as outpatients, outpatient rehabilitation, diabetes Center, wound Care Center, home health, and difficult to get authorizations.
