Does not live up to its promises - no real commitment to D&I

Pros

Talented people who believe in what they are doing. Good social cause/climate change solutions. Fair compensation. Good work life balance

Cons

Company does not live up to what it purports to be. There is little, if any, structured career development; top leaders constantly coming from the outside (due to lack of development of our own people; poor HR leadership and vision). D&I is touted, but is all talk and no action - statistics are poor re: people of color, ethnicity, or women advancing. Some diverse people come in, but the culture and some of the top leadership eventually root out anyone who is different or brings new perspective. Culture is very passive aggressive. Look at the parade of talented senior females who leave JM and you’ll see the issue. Only european white men succeed here. There is a disproportionate focus on UK and other countries are largely ignored.

Pros

Better than average benefits as a result of being based out of the United Kingdom.

Cons

Devens Massachusetts (USA): You will be made to write incident reports - whereby you will tattle on your co-workers, and in turn, they will tattle on you. Those who tattles the most win prizes from a special website. As compensation for this activity, you will get a much lower salary than any other equivalent company. If you are a recent graduate, I would advise you to stay away from this company so you don't damage your reputation. Your better off doing something outside your field until a real opportunity at a serious company arises.
