- Great benefits (401K matching, health, dental) - Excellent individuals on the teams; high integrity, commitment, friends - Excellent exposure to the healthcare industry

Cons

- Poor pay with no indication of improvement in future employment - Terrible internal motivation for employees to strive for excellence; employees are not rewarded for hard work and innovation, but rather intimidated or vaguely threatened that if they do not perform, "we'll find someone else to fill your seat on the bus" - Executive leadership does not recognize or reward internal excellence and achievement, no clear path to bettering your career with KLAS - Innovation stifled by status quo; I don't know how many times I've heard, "That's not the way we do it here"

Fun to get insight into the executive- and director-level decisions that healthcare providers make on a daily basis. If you are in the right branch of the organization, there are clear paths upward in terms of growth & responsibility, as well as compensation.

Cons

HR is spending a lot of time spinning its wheels trying to figure out how to make people that work there happy. At this point, they really need to start paying more competitive wages throughout the organization. Also, the organization tends to have a lot of favoritism.
